The reception and waiting rooms are designed for comfort, so arriving is easy. We have wheelchair access, and short term parking across the road if you were just popping in to get a script.
Our GPs always do their best to run to time, but if you did have to wait then we have a large waiting room with an assortment of materials to browse. We also have a range of health information available to answer any questions our patients have about services or consults. And of course one of our friendly team is never far away to help.

We aim to make coming to see one of our Doctor or Nurses as easy as possible. The feedback from our patients so far is that they love the new Centre. Being in the middle of town makes the practice so accessible its easy to pop in at lunchtime or before work.
Central Wellington Medical Centre is one of Wellington's newest and most modern medical centres. Opened in mid 2016 the practice is in a newly built premises on Customhouse Quay, providing friendly healthcare and advice to people living and working in Wellington City.
The medical centre focuses on providing a professional and patient friendly environment. This allows the experienced medical team to offer the best care and advice to our patients. We pride ourselves on running on time and respecting our patients' needs for appointments early morning, during their lunch breaks or later in the evening. We try to be flexible with our appointment times and have quick appointments for basic healthcare, as well as things like medical certificates, for sick leave and repeat scripts so your not kept waiting.
We like to communicate with our patients. If there is an important health announcement or update from the Ministry of Health, or local PHO, that we think its important you know about then we will forward this onto you. By being up to speed on any important health information topics like vaccinations, disease, treatments, travel and funded medications etc, it allows our patients to make the best health decisions for them and their families.
Our practice is an ACC provider, which means we can see patients under ACC claims. Our experienced team can refer to a number of local specialists to aid in recovery and rehabilitation. This can make some appointments cheaper. We see healthcare as a collaborative approach, and love working with our health partners to get the best outcomes for our patients.
