How to Enrol at the practice

Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.30pm

Outside of our normal practice hours medical care can be accessed via:   


Wellington Accident & Urgent Medical Centre (Afterhours)

17 Adelaide Road, Newtown

8am till 9pm, 365 days a year


Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic

Kenepuru Hospital, Raiha St, Porirua

24 hours a day, 365 days a year


Practice Plus - Telehealth and Virtual GP Appointments

Practice Plus is available weekdays 9am – 10pm and weekends and public holidays 8am – 8pm.


If you need urgent care outside of these hours please go to the Emergency Department at Wellington Hospital or dial 111 on your phone for an ambulance

Simply contact us on (04) 912-2642 and speak to one of our reception team to make an appointment at a time that suits you. If we do not answer or you call out of business hours please leave a voice mail and we will call you back as soon as possible.


If its after hours, you can send us an email with your contact details and preferred time. We will call/text you back confirming the appointment so you don't have to ring us again in the morning.

We are currently not taking new enrolments. This may change in the future based on staffing availability.


Enrolling here is free and easy for those who are eligible. By registering with Central Wellington Medical, you will receive up-to-date health information and announcements from our local PHO, as well as ensure you have access to subsidised healthcare and specific support programmes for cardiovascular risk, diabetes, and smoking cessation. 


To enrol, download an enrolment form below. Fill out your details, select your eligibility from the list, sign with a handwritten, or e-signature and email it to us. You can fill out an enrolment form at the practice, when you come for your consult if you wish.

 As proof of eligibility, we require a copy of your passport or citizenship if you are a NZ, or Australian citizen, born overseas. If you’re on a resident, or work visa, we require a copy of your passport and immigration visa to process your enrolment.
